By early 2004, seven wind
farms totaling over 148 megawatts (MW) of power will be built in Pennsylvania,
making the State the leader in the Eastern United States for wind development.
Another 249 MW of additional projects are anticipated in the next two
years.
Allow us to take you on a tour of some of the wind
farms that are generating electricity for Pennsylvania. The best way
to embrace the concept of new wind energy generation is to see the turbines
up close and in person. This, we hope, is the next best thing to being
there.
